Just wanted to drop a quick note thanking you guys for your wonderful hospitality last weekend. You made us feel like a part of your “family”. We had a great time both at Verdi’s and at the Taste of Marco – the tuna, the tilapia, the prawns and the lamb were killer. We both think Verdi’s has the best food that we have ever had... ever!! We would put Verdi's up against Le Ferme, Chez Francois,Iron Gate or any of our other favorites in DC and Verdi's would win hands-down. Three cheers for McIlroy Pinot Noir and your wisdom in selecting that vineyard. Hope to see you on November 23.

My girlfriend, Evelyn, and I had a wonderful dinner at Verdi's last week on our visit from NJ. We were impressed not only by the taste and presentation of the food (NZealand Rack of Lamb ,chicken in the phyllo pastry, specially prepared clams and mussels in a white sauce, baked brie, and of course, a wonderful tasting bottle of Cab) but the attention to details. This included the chef/owner, Guy Verdi, coming to our table and many others not only greet his guests but actually spend some time with each table. This is truly a feat in the middle of the dinner rush. As you can probably tell this is not our 1st time to Verdi's. It is a sort of homecoming as all guests are treated as part of the family. Add the following elements together: Sun and Sand during the day/ Verdi's for Vittles and Vino at night. A PERFECT COMBINATION. Going to Verdi's certainly was one of the highlights of our trip. Keep up the great work.

Thank you again for a wonderful dinner. They all truly loved everything. Everybody was still talking about your restaurant on Monday and how it was the best out of all. Please pass this onto the owners how pleased were with the service, we had a great time. I can't wait to come back!! Thanks for the recipe too - everyone will appreciate it. I even received a great job from the owner, which made me feel good.
